i’m so curious and i’ve been meaning to ask, what would you say your fave op arcs are? ☺️

Water 7/Enies Lobby (which I count as one) are my favorite pre-timeskip arcs, and despite the devastation I do still quite enjoy Impel Down/Marineford. Post-timeskip I actually rlly love Egghead!!! I’m a big fan of when the series widens and we get to see what’s going on in the rest of the world LOL but if I’m being perfectly honest I genuinely think my favorite arc is yet to be written…… I do believe there’ll be an arc in the future where shanks gets a significant amount of screentime and that’s sure to be up there, but also Oda just seems to be getting more n more into it as we approach endgame and the story gets to things he’s been planning for years yk

#ask.🌧#nagisagi #idk if it counts but I love the oden flashback too 🫶🏻#there r aspects of the Dressrosa and Wano sagas that I rlly like but I find they drag on too long #and similarly Thriller Bark is rlly rlly good at times #Alabasta is probably my favorite saga but the Alabasta arc itself is a bit……. bloated #truthfully I think my real issue is I don’t like when we split up the straw hats to do fifteen individual fights w mediocre villains 😭😭😭#which like it’s a fighting shonen this should be expected but #it’s boring to me #egghead had the best fight pacing imo. many chars had their times to shine but #it wasn’t just. perfectly pairing ally and antagonist into battles
